THE ANDANTES PROJECT

The Andantes are Motown's legendary in house session vocalists. For 14 years  at Motown they sang on so many of my personal favorite songs, songs that we all know and love and hear everyday on the radio, My Guy, Baby I Need Your Lovin', Bernadette, Jimmy Mack, What's Going On, and so many more.  How can I ever express how much I love these ladies? Louvain Demps of The Andantes is my long lost spiritual mother. Louvain and I bonded when I was working on the Tammi book and helped me through a lot of the emotions that came with doing that story. She asked me if I would help The Andantes when I was done. Once Tammi's book was released we began and Marlene Barrow, Jackie Hicks, and my sweet   Louvain all came together.. These ladies are my friends and just as Ludie and I became friends, it goes beyond writing books; it's about loyalty, respect, integrity, and telling the story the way it's meant to be told through the eyes of the people who lived it. The Andantes have touched my life for longer than I can say, the fact I sang along to their parts when I was a child just blows me away. I am again honored to be working with a great team and witnessing the gifts that have come from these two amazing projects, not just for me but for everyone involved and the fans included.

THE ANDANTES DVD PROJECT

This will be a behind the scenes type of DVD and have a home movies feel to it. I have been filming the ladies as we go and when I have all the footage complete I will begin to package this for them. It's the making of their book and the months we have spent together and an inside look at these wonderful ladies.....
