A native Angelino, I was born and raised in Los Angeles , California . My interest in photography began when I was a little girl. My very first camera was one I won for selling magazines for school sometime in the 1970's. It was a cheap little
thing but it took pictures of my brother & sister and the neighborhood kids
doing silly poses in my backyard, pictures I still have today. As I got older,
taking pictures was more of a hobby than thinking it could become a career,
I thought, “I don't want to do something I enjoy working everyday taking
pictures then stop liking to do it anymore.” I couldn't have been more wrong.
Doing what you love never makes it feel like work. Throughout my life,
I took various photography classes, learning black & white and just
recently caved in using digital. It was hard giving up film; I was from
the old school. Working now as a freelancer, I wasn't always going
down the photography path. After earning a Bachelor of Science in
Interior Design with a Business minor, I pursued my other dream of
getting into the entertainment business. Throughout my life I loved
television shows and movies, I thought I wanted to be an actress but
slowly changed my mind on that. I was fascinated with the stars and
celebrities and had many favorites. I met someone that introduced me
to a woman who worked at one of the leading studio's HR and got a job
working in one of the departments. That's how I got my foot in the
door and for the last 12 years I have kept my foot there. I've worked
on various TV shows like, “The Army Show,” “The Norm Show/Norm,”
“Citizen Baines,” “The Wanda Sykes Show,” “Fastlane-pilot” and numerous
other pilots that didn't get picked up. As glamorous as the industry appears
