My friend and assistant at Warner Bros is Lynette Turner, who is a very talented photographer. I had so much to do in Philly and so much to carry there and back so I decided that the trip to would be a road trip. Lynette accompanied me and it was a grueling and fun trip to and from Philly. |
|
Tammi and Ludie had pet ducks when they were children and as a symbol of good luck, people gave me ducks all the time and would tell me, get your “ducks in a row” and things like that. Ducks became a good look charm for me. |

So I brought my biggest duck to Philly with me. We made sure he was in lots of pictures. Here he is at The Grand Canyon. This is Ducky having fun in a tree.

We saw this sign and I asked Lynette to take a picture for me, 1966 was a good year ( I was born) but it was also a great year for some of my favorite Motown songs too.

Of course, no road trip to Philly would be complete without a picture of The Liberty Bell.. Here's Lynette enjoying her freedom. |

We loved Steak N' Shake, and everytime we saw one we had to eat there....YUMMY!! |

Lynette and Mr. Ducky as we entered Texas, it seems like Mr. Ducky is tired? He must have known it was going to take us 4 days to get across Texas.

We were determined to see an alligator when we drove through Louisiana and we found one,

and of course the alligator keepers were Tammi Terrell fans. |
