pick on me just to make me blush (it was a large class of 400-500 people, so you can see why that would be embarrassing).  Jim was best known for co-writing Top Gun, Turner & Hooch, Legal Eagles and Secret of My Success among others.  With encouragement from my family and friends and my love of movies and writing, it was easy to decide that I wanted to strive to become a screenwriter.

I became involved with the Tammi Terrell Biopic Project when my friend and colleague, Vickie Wright, called me at work one day. She was very anxious and excited.  I was just minding my own business, sitting at my desk at Universal Studios and she was over at Warner Bros at her office. I received her call saying she needed to talk to me about something urgent.  I thought she was calling me about a problem with one of the television sitcoms we both worked for, however that wasn't the case.  Vickie asked if I would write the script for the Tammi Terrell Project since she and Ludie were being asked to get a script developed.  They needed someone they could trust to keep Tammi's life story true to Tammi, and to continue to keep the project close to heart with Tammi's family involved in the process.  I agreed to work on the script and I am pleased to say we have gotten great feedback.  Ludie's involvement and blessing is important to this work, and it was a great experience when we went to Philly and read through the script.   The next step is the silver screen and we are not far away from that, thanks to Vickie's driving force, and Ludie's love for Tammi.
